Working Student - Applied AI

About Us

Join TKH AI's Applied AI team and help drive TKH's automation strategy by developing cutting-edge AI solutions that transform global manufacturing. You'll work on computer vision, audio AI, and machine learning algorithms deployed in real-world industrial applications. From foreign object detection in our tire building machines (>70% global market share) and automated quality inspection systems, to intelligent client-facing chatbots that enhance customer interaction.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of AI algorithms for computer vision, audio processing, or LLM applications

• Assist in applying AI models to real-world industrial challenges across TKH Operating Companies

• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and document findings

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and systems

• Stay current with the latest AI research and help evaluate new techniques for practical application

• Contribute to proof-of-concepts and pilot projects that demonstrate AI value

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Artificial Intelligence or related field

• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning concepts

• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)

• Passion for applying AI to solve real-world industrial problems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
